DJ Shadow Contributes to Oxfam Haiti Charity Auction
Posted Jan 22, 2010
This is an alert to all guests: Shadow has donated one of his "Endtroducing-era" Technics MK-1200 turntables to a Haiti relief auction currently underway on eBay.co.uk (http://bit.ly/shadowhaiti ). The information is as follows:
"This Technics MK-1200 turntable, complete with Shadow's handwritten pitch notes and stickered flight case, was used during the making of the landmark 'Endtroducing,' as well as various live shows including his extensive 1999 world tour."
Shadow additionally informs us that the turntable had been stored with his London-based manager since about 2003.
Simply put, this is possibly the premier item of DJ Shadow memorabilia ever offered. Good luck to all potential bidders!

Winning bid finally priced £920.00. wow :o
it is remarkable to know. But i think it could be bidding on some higher price that it coz it was really valuable to have.
would that i were rich enough to get it along with a 642-524 class benefit. :(
Damn, Outbided!
Winning bid finally priced £920.00. Merry Christmas to the happy winner
I would probably pay 500 for this, especially because it benefits Haiti. But I do think the bidding is going to sky rocket the last few days of the auction
My guess is it will top 700 pounds... Maybe a lot more. It's great that Shadow is contributing to this cause.
Damn, how much do you think that'd go for??
