We originally set out to select 1 member to receive the "Best DJ Shadow Street Team Member Of 2009" Award. We have so many great members who are extremely active in promoting Shadow, and it was very difficult to select just 1, so we split it into 2 categories: Best Online Team Member (promoting online to various social networks and blogs), and Best Hand-To-Hand Member (handing out fliers and stickers). We have yet another addition to the DJ Shadow Remix Project!
-"Midnight In A Perfect World Reinterpretation" By DJ H (AKA Devin J. Hinds). DJ Shadow says this one is "more of an original work than a remix, but is well-done and emotive."
DJ H says of his work on this track: "This is dedicated to SSG Tirador, a squad member of mine that died today. I am currently deployed to Iraq and I produced this in Iraq. Shadow you are a huge inspiration. This is my reinterpretation of Midnight in A Perfect World. The first song that got me into a 10 year career of djing."
