JOIN THE DJ SHADOW WHAT DOES YOUR CITY SOUND LIKE? EXPERIMENT
DJ Shadow and Nokia Trends Lab are calling out to creative innovators
across Europe to join the latest Lab experiment: Collaborate with DJ
Shadow to create a music track just for your city!
What Does Your City Sound Like? Use your mobile phone to record the
sounds that define your city. What makes your city unique? Is it the
sound of your railway, your port, the harried human congestion in the
heart of downtown or the quietude of a favorite city park? It could be
anything. Then upload your recorded sounds HERE
DJ Shadow will then select the city that uploaded the very best sounds
to create an exclusive "What does your city sound like?" music track.
Aside from collaborating with DJ Shadow to create this unique art piece,
uploading sounds will also enter you to win some cool swag
like limited edition DJ Shadow Wallpaper Packs and a special Nokia
Recording Kit featuring the Nokia 5310 Xpress Music
If you think you have the skills to make your own mix for your city, show us
what you got. Aside from uploading the sounds you record for DJ Shadow to
use, you can also upload your own mix of your sounds. DJ Shadow will
pick his favourite "My City Sounds Like" mix and the winner will receive
a VIP trip to an upcoming Nokia Trends Lab event in Europe.
